SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE INVESTING (SRI)
Trinity uses the FFV Scorecard® to screen investments, which meet or exceed the standards of Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI) and the "Socially Responsible Investment Guidelines" of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). The focus of the screening is to protect the dignity of human life, support employees and their families, and to safeguard the environment. The screening covers four major areas: life and family exclusions, social justice, environmental records and corporate governance practices.
TRINITY FIDUCIARY DEFINES SRI
In 2006, Trinity began focusing on the Socially Responsible Investing subset, Faith-Based Investing. There was no standard definition or standard index surrounding Faith-Based investing so Trinity set out to define the methodology similar to that of the quantitative fundamental stock model to produce successful and repeatable results. The FFV Scorecard™ was successfully created and now aids in tremendous research to prove the positive correlation between Socially Responsible Investing and financial return.
